My research site

My research site is the university’s field house. The field house of the Texas A&M University Commerce is the big red building nearby the Whitley gym close by the Memorial stadium. Upon entering the field house and walking into the gym a wooden floor welcomes you. You see two big bleachers that can be pulled out and in the middle of them both the court that has a newer wooden floor with the school’s big lion logo in the center. On the sides of the court are the two baskets and two score boards are attached to either sidewall of the field house gym.

Underneath one of them you can find the locker room of the basketball team. There are two sides two it. In this part of the building there is also the office if the head coach Sam Walker and the most valuable objects of the games, the basketballs. The assistant coaches and the manager can be found here too. Another room in the field house that is frequently used is the training room where the players can get treatment before and after practice as well as during the games. The room in the field house that makes the players student-athletes is the academic centers where the players have to go to study hall and tutoring. They have scheduled times where they have to be there.
