      4. When did you start playing basketball?

He started playing in 2^nd grade when he was seven years old.

4    5. Why did you choose basketball?

      Craig played soccer and wanted to try something different so he chose to start basketball.

      6. How long have you played for the university’s team?

      He has been in the university’s basketball team for the last four years.

      7. How do you use literacy in the sport?

      The team uses literacy in order to understand play calls and certain defense/offence terms. This means literacy is used for communication between the teammates.

      8. How is literacy specific to your team?

      It is important for understanding each other.

      9. Is communication between you and your teammates/coach hard?

      Sometimes communication can be hard because teammates and the coach might disagree on ideas and game strategies.

     10. How does specific literacy help you communicate?

     Specific terms them to understand each other fast while playing to make the game go smoothly.
